Larry Donnell Tinnon

On September 7, 1951, Larry Donnell Tinnon was born to Johnny Clyde Tinnon and Helen Marie Johnson Tinnon. He accepted Christ at an early age at Rising Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. I. W. Robinson. Larry graduated from the old L. C. Anderson High School. He attended Huston-Tillotson College. He served in the U.S. Air force from July 11, 1972 to February 22, 1974. Larry enjoyed his movies, playing basketball, dominoes and hanging out with his friends. Larry was also a good friend and would do all he could for anyone and anybody. Most of all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by both parents Johnny Clyde Tinnon and Helen Marie Johnson Tinnon, and one brother, Lester E. Simmons, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Evelyn K. Harris Tinnon, Rosie L. Simmons (Ron); one brother Gene Rogers Johnson (Miranda); three nieces, Shannon Johnson, Mariah Johnson, Tiannah Laporte; two nephews, Elton S. Harris (Rae), Gerald L. Russell; two aunts, Dorothy Ramey, Lavern Jenkins (Melvin); two uncles Noland Johnson, Ulysses Johnson (Mattie);p and a host of relatives and friends. "Larry we love you and will miss you.
