In memory of
June 15, 2010
Mr. Waldron was such an inspiration to me. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the original PW United team back in '83. I was nine. Larry called us his children. But not because we were young, rather because he loved us all like his own. He pushed us. He taught us everything we needed to know. He wanted the best for us as people and athletes. He took us to England, wanted us to see the best play the "thinking person's game". He had such a beautiful a vision, and he shared that vision with all of us. That's why we worked as hard as we did. We did it not only for ourselves but for him, too. And that's why we were one of the best youth teams ever in any age group.
I will remember him forever for the soccer scholar, soulful gentleman and life warrior that he was. Thank you so much for everything you shared with me, coach.
1-2-3 UNITED!!!
Much love,
Christopher Hydinger

Dear Mrs Waldron, my deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of Larry. We have not met, but I came in contact with Larry when he was building the Phillips School Project in Georgetown, where my husband and I lived at the time. We became fast friend, and through him I got to learn about your family. Although I have not seen him in years we often stayed in touch via email or the occasional call. I will miss Larry as he was a true gentleman and a good friend, may he rest in peace.

Dear Mrs. Waldron and family, I am so saddened by the news of Larry's passing. He brought me into his life as an admirer of my work and in just a few hours, I was lucky to have him become a friend. I just want all of you to know that I will miss him so very much. His laughter and his bold opinions on how things should be will always be memories that I will hold forever. I was always glad to be with him and his enthusiasm for what he loved was wonderful to be around. May the Lord watch over him and ease your pain at his passing.
With deep sadness,
Dr. Bob Winters, Orlando, Florida

Mr Waldron was my putting coach for almost two years. When my dad texted me this morning and told me he had died, i couldn't help but cry. He was a very nice person and he helped my putting so much. I will miss him very much. Please accept my deepest apologies.
