Larry L. Walker, age 85, the Fairfax Community passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Ohio Valley Inpatient Care Center in Seaman, OH.
He was born February 4, 1940 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Earl Walker and Lilly Flo Caplinger Walker.
Larry was a member of the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ and the Sardinia Masonic Lodge #254 F&AM; a graduate of White Oak High School Class of 1958, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked for his brother-in-law, Rodger Roberts many years before his retirement, and prior to that he was a well known square dance caller and instructor. In his earlier years he was in sales and promotions for Union Workman Chewing Tobacco, often going to stockyards, county fairs and public events handing out free samples.
Surviving are son, Doug (Jennifer) Walker, two daughters, Denise (Danny) Bohrer, DeAnne (Matt) Davis; four Grandchildren, Danielle Bohrer, Victoria (Jacob) Sonner, Madison Davis and Connor Davis. Also left to mourn his passing are two Great-Grandchildren, Anne Sonner and Walker Sonner and a special friend, Dee Hayes.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Anne Walker and his sister, Patty Roberts.
Services will be held at Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ, Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ Friday November 21, 2025 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Masonic services will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral services.
