I´m just learning this early morning, Tuesday September 2, of Poppa Paints. I had been wondering about the absence everyday and decided to Google `Where is Poppa Paints, Larry Whitler?´ I believe I´m still in shock and I learned and knew from the videos how Robin was a very conscientious driver. That day I´m sure you could hear her infectious laugh on their drive, and Poppa´s warm voice and apologies throughout the day to Robin. One their last video journey shared by the newspaper, Robin lightly joked about an accident of theirs that would go viral if it happened. Poppa Larry objected immediately to the comment in his usual calm nature. Call it premonition or something else but within days the premonition became reality. I write all of this to say he tells us to follow through with our creative desire in his honor. I will.

I knew Larry for over 20 years. I worked at the same place he did he was a very gifted person artist and musician, watched most of his downtown Ocala music sessions and an all-around fantastic person you will be greatly missed. I always watched most all of his videos that he ever posted clear up to the last one. What a big loss for anyone.RIP Larry

I am saddened to hear about the news of Larry's passing. I was a guest on the Veteran´s News Hour many times and he and I would spend a lot of time discussing the way Veterans were being mistreated by the VA. He loved our Vets!
