Larry George Williams was born February 15, 1949, in Taylor County, KY to the late George Thomas Williams and Allene Cowherd Williams. He departed this life peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at his home in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of seventy-six years, five months and five days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and joined First Baptist Church of Campbellsville at an early age. He was a barber and served twenty years in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst for NATO. After retiring from the military, he worked at Cox Interior for fifteen years. He enjoyed being outside mowing grass, working in his garage and hanging out with his friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Webb.

He is survived by his wife: Wendy Ford Williams; two sons: Shonnery George Williams (JoVonna) of Grand Blanc, Michigan and Kelly C. Williams of Campbellsville, KY; one daughter: Lorry Anne Pinkston (Antwon) of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren: Amiah Williams, Nadia Pratt and Zaria Pinkston; one sister: Rebecca Ann Henry (James) of Oswego, Ill; one aunt; Sophia Greene of Newport News, Virginia; Mother-in-Law: Mary Ann Ford of Louisville, KY plus a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside service for Larry George Williams will be held at 1 P.M. Central Time on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community of Green County with Dr. O.B. Ford officiating with full military honors by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9 A.M. Central Time until 12:30 P.M. at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
