Larry Wilson Obituary
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday March 13, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Brother Chris King officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday March 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
Larry was born July 3, 1944 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Roy and Martha Wilson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Wilson and one great-granddaughter, Katie Claire McMinn.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Wilson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two daughters, Kendra (Randy) Carter of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Glenda (Jason) Hicks of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one son, Donald (Tanya) Wilson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister, Jennie Weaver of McKenzie, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Kaleb (Alyse) McMinn, Leah (Christopher) Cary, Kolton (Torri) McMinn, Dylan (Maria McMackins) Hicks, Logan (Jessi) Carter, Cody Wilson, Evan Wilson and Jake Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Marlie McMinn, Lainey Kate Cary, Laiken Cary, Mason Carter, Merris McMinn and Kensley Carter.
2 Timothy 4:7 is a testament to the great life he lived:
"I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith."
