Larry Cecil Wynns, age 67, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on May 7, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1957 in Russellville, Kentucky to the late Dot and J.C. Wynns.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of over 43 years, Renee Wynns; children, Justin Wynns (Kate) and Eric Wynns; and grandchildren, Palmer and Helen.
Larry was a graduate of Maplewood High School and then continued his education graduating with a master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Larry excelled as a chemist, teacher, coach, and homebuilder. In his leisure time, he enjoyed boating on Center Hill Lake and hunting. Larry was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. Larry's proudest accomplishments revolved around the love he had for his family and his cherished grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life immediately following visitation at Hendersonville Church of Christ 107 Rockland Road Hendersonville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Ataxia Foundation.
