In honor of Mr Jurak I update my signature memorial that I am in Ukraine now serving with music and labor and small agriculture farming non-gmo compost prep using the principles of health Mr J taught by example....I sustain myself with peace initiatives with war torn community around me that invited me 2021 to work amidst them prior to the war which now rages. I serve with his memory in mind and the school he worked at to give to others what was given to me. Salute Mr J !!!! I will always remember to be conscious best I can for good with what I am doing with " that ball" !!! That "ball of purpose" in life serving others. My beloved Grandmother Katherine Leona Wood Williams was of Hungarian blood married to William McKinley Williams with Scottish Blood and Native American roots. Genetics origins and lives are amazing for what is possible for connections and contributions in the world in positive ways. I am also grateful to Mr John Gardner who hired Mr J and Dr Franz E Winkler ---[personal friend of Dr Victor Frankl] --- who from Graz Austria was the school doctor for Waldorf school. I thank them for their care and nurturing for health and positive learning contributions to student lives for years to come. I love them all.

"Use the other left foot "he would say to some on the field ))) "Lean over that ball!!!!" on the soccer field you could never get the ball from him training your feet agility and his dribbling skills as he laughed while doing it so easily.....I loved running the 1 mile against other schools for him and high jump and 440 relay in high school under his coaching. I tried Handball few tomes in the Adelphi Gym. with him it was unique experience throwing the ball into the goal instead of kicking it. . He was sharp watching the actions and players and his work out exercises were the prime best for fitness !!!! in the gym and in the field. He was a great teacher for character development and I will always be grateful for him and his talks with my father attending the Waldorf School. I am grateful for his life contributions to my growth in school and life which prepared me for later fitness in sprots and military duty and Martial arts and body building health and skills. He and my Father Napoleon Bradley who passed away last February 2023 talked on the sidelines field watching the game talented players he trained. I was and am a musician . I loved going to Mr J's office by surprise---- to link up with him building a bridge of student teacher understanding better .--. sometimes with my violin and playing one of the Hungarian Dances By Brahms in the hallway of the school for him putting a smile on his face. He has touched so many many lives as a great champion builder and human being. God Bless MR" J". Thank you Sir ...Now you coach the angels in flight!!!!! My name in school was Lenny Bradley. It was changed do to military security reasons during service for 20 yrs in dangerous circumstances protecting servicemen form casualties at sea and for family reasons later. Mr Weschler was the co coach with Mr "J" at the school at that time of the 1960s ad 70s.

Coach Jurak was a unique man who definitely was direct in his teaching. I was a student at Waldorf School in Garden City in the 70's. I was a lousy soccer player, but I credit Coach Jurak for teaching me about the game which helped later on when I broadcast soccer games on radio in college at Adelphi and the MISL. Good man.

Mr. J had a HUGE influence on my life. I attended the Waldorf School from 1971-1976 (1st - 6th grade). Mr. J was my gym teacher. He taught me determination, belief in self and hard work were the cornerstones to achieve greatness. I have carried those tenants with me my entire life since. It was his influence, that allowed me to pursue my athletic dreams and earn an athletic scholarship to The University of Pittsburgh. He was a good man with a kind heart who i greatly admired. Thanks Coach for everything you did to make me a better athlete and a better man. RIP
