Mrs. Laura Elizabeth “Beth” Sutton Stone, 62, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Stone was born in Homerville, GA, to the late Charles Wendell Sutton and Mary Ella Steedley Sutton. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness and was a homemaker, loving her family, children and fishing. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and one sister: Kimberly Pittman.
Survivors are her husband: Buck Stone, DuPont; one daughter: Victoria Emerald Minchew (Blake), Waycross; one son: Charles Monroe Stone (Harley), Homerville; three sisters: Margaret Davis, Charlene Sutton and Betty Jo Delk, all of DuPont; five grandchildren: Lawton Courson, Alex Stone, Riley Stone, Sophia Minchew and Buxton Minchew; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stone will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at one o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 6 until 8 p.m at the funeral home.
