I am an old friend of Laura's first born daughter, Maddie. We went to the same school and were kind to each other. Laura Bowman was an incredible mom and her daughters were amazing. I could tell that my friend Maddie and her sister were figures of their mother's heart. I haven't seen either of them in about two years but I can still remember how happy Laura and Maddie made everyone. May God send the amount of love I felt for Laura to everyone that touched Laura's heart. God bless Laura Bowman.

Laura and I ran high school track and cross-country together and I remember her smile and humor. She made workouts fun and miles
pass quickly. So sorry to hear this news and may she rest in peace.

What a beautiful angel. I pray thru God's holy grace He will send you to Larry, your babies and your family in their dreams. Praying, Lisa's mom.

She was my neighbor and I was hers and I accepted her with open arms in this little Grove Street neighborhood where I was born. She understood the value of family and wanted to know and cherish the history of how this neighborhood came to be.

She kept me posted as to what was going on and even broke the news to me that my childhood friend and neighbor, Clifford Mayfield had passed away. We would meet out in the street and make sure one of us called the police if something was happening that we did not feel was appropriate for our hood.

We never went out to lunch or to a movie but I felt we bonded immediately. Laura and her Mom came over to ask me where I got my giant plastic Easter Eggs that I displayed outside and told me how much she loved them. It was game on for the decorating contests ever since that day

Although we never met for coffee or went out to lunch, I knew from across the street how she and her family were lovingly caring for our neighbors and how very important it was to instill this in their girls.

I will miss waving at her as we are both heading out to start our busy days or running into each other at the grocery store. I find myself experiencing such a terrible and deep loss for my special neighbor but I know she left such a strong legacy for her children and husband.

Larry and family, Camie and I are just across the street we are here for you.

Laura was a good friend of mine in high school, and I will always remember her smile. She made basketball and track practice tolerable! I loved hanging out on the weekends and enjoyed our friendship! I am sorry I lost touch with you as we grew into adulthood. Rest in Peace sweet friend!
