Light-hearted and effortlessly kind. She was an amazing being. She left a lot of love on this Earth through her work with kids and through everyone she met. She loved her family most of all. Laura was one of a kind.

Laura leaves a wonderful legacy in her students and her family. She was forever loved and admired by her high school friends and classmates, regardless of intervening years. We won't forget her heart and humor and the joy of spending time with her. Thoughts and prayers to her family as they say goodbye to a lovely, lovely woman.

My deepest condolences to all of Laura's family and many friends who held her so dear. As one of the "Webster Girls," she was a huge part of our lives from the time she moved to Webster through all of our adult lives. She was truly a special soul, and such a tremendous, brave example in the way that she wrestled with this awful disease. She leaves a huge whole in my heart, but at the same time will remain in my mind and heart forever. I know it would please her if in time we are able to replace our tears with smiles at the memory of this fabulous woman, family member and true friend.

I knew Laura from when she and her family first moved to Webster Groves and we became fast friends. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathy to her husband and family.

To Laura's beloved family,
In one of Laura's several, rich emails she painted the glorious picture of her son running and jumping into her arms as he tore himself away from his friends to come home for the evening. She equated this with leaving this life and jumping into the arms of Christ! She stayed with us for a very long time, but once he called her home she squeezed every ounce out of every moment..... Her poise, grace, and infectious Joy of life will forever be admired and cherished. Thank you for sharing Laura with us. Although there are no words that can ease your painMay you be comforted knowing that she has left you surrounded and embraced by her legacy of love throughout this community.
