Laura W. Gonzales

Laura Gonzales departed this life on November 28, 2025 at home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born to Eulalio and Cora Chacon on March 1, 1934.
Our loving mother is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband David Gonzales Sr; beloved sons, Phillip and Matthew Gonzales; and six brothers.
Our mother found joy in the beautiful, simple things in life. She loved getting lost in romance novels. And there are plenty packed away in her closet, attic, and basement and well, you get the picture. Her other joy was gardening. This is where she created her own little world of peace and color. Planting, tending, and nurturing with the same love she gave to her family. Her garden was her sanctuary and her books were her escape. Both reflected the warmth and tenderness of her heart. Although, her home was by far her favorite place to be. She will always be remembered for her unwavering spirit, strength, courage, and the love she had for her family. She instilled in her loved ones a strong trust and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Laura is survived by her sons, David Jr. (Betty), Mark (Christy), Larry James, Ben Sr (Sally), Stevens (Peggy); 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, 2 brothers along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rest in peace dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts.
