Laura A. (Schwab/Kennedy) Grimo, age 67 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California to the late Richard and Joyce Gadelle (Baldwin) Junge. She was a retired nurse who worked at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her three sons.

Laura is survived by her husband, Dr. Steven Grimo, six adult children Michael (Brooke) Grimo, Jonathan (Christine) Grimo, Jennifer Brill (Grimo); and ten grandchildren. On the Kennedy side, Laura has her sons, Andrew (Amber) Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy, and Kevin Kennedy. She is also survived by step-sister, Dee Anne Taylor and family from Bountiful, Utah; cousin, Marc Phelps and family from Hawthorne, California.

She was active with her husband after he retired from the USAF Academy in Coloradoand, as well as here in Canton, Ohio with the music department at Malone University. She enjoyed rubber stamping and the art of making greeting cards.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 am at John Knox Presbyterian Church in Canton, Ohio. In place of flowers, a donation to the Youth and Children's Ministry at John Knox Presbyterian Church may be made.
