Later, she attended Thomas Nelson Nursing School where she completed a two-year nursing degree. She worked over 20 years in the nursing field caring for our most vulnerable population until a back injury. She followed nursing with a career in the areas of customer service and management for the past 19 years. She raised four daughters with the help of their father Raymond Pierce (deceased) and the children's paternal grandparents, Regina Hunter (Nathaniel Hunter, deceased). She loved traveling, had her eyes set on adventures abroad, and was a free spirit. Laura loved to shop and more importantly spend time with her grandkids.
In spite of her health, Laura got up every day with a smile and a kind word for anyone. She showed her daughters the importance of independence, impact of love, and strength of family. She never gave up or in to her circumstances and always had faith that God CAN and WILL DELIVER if you ASK. May she rest in heaven and know the battle in this realm has been won by the Creator and wake up renewed and restored.
