Burleson, Texas - Laura Belle Jost, 90, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in
Burleson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at Mountain
Valley Funeral Home. Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Laura was the youngest of six children born to Nathan and Dovie Fairchild
Sanders. She was born December 22, 1930 in Oak Vale, Mississippi. After
graduating from Purvis High School, Mississippi in 1948, she moved to Fort Worth where she met the love of her life, Wallace Milton Jost. Wallace and Laura married September 4, 1953 and together had two children, Bruce and Dana. In 1964, the family purchased land south of Burleson and built a home and farm. Laura loved to garden, cook and sew. Laura was a sweet and spunky lady, loved to laugh, and was the life of the party. She was a prayer warrior and stayed close to her Savior's side each day. She raised her family to love God and to acknowledge Him in all their ways. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Laura was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Ray Sanders; three sisters, Wilma Utterback, Christene Orr, and Glovenia Mims. Laura is survived by her precious husband of 67 years, Wallace M. Jost; her son, Bruce M. Jost and his wife, Diane; her daughter, Dana L. Jost Law and her husband, Jeff; 6 grandchildren, Cynthia and Nathan Buck, Kent and Laura Jost, Claire Law, and Mackenzie Law; one great-granddaughter, Marley Buck.
