Laura M. Patsy

Laura M. (Arduini) Patsy, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born in Erie on May 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Anthony V. and Carmella B. (Bucceri) Arduini.
Laura's greatest role in life was being a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She took great pride in her family. When Laura wasn't spending time with family, she could be found on the golf course, working in her gardens, playing cards with friends, or reading a good book. Her favorite place was the beach, where she liked nothing more than the hot sun and a cold ice cream. She had many other hobbies and talents, such as painting and sewing, which she shared with everyone around her. Laura will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary G. Patsy, and brother, James Arduini.
She is survived by three sons, and one daughter: Scott A. Patsy, Mark J. Patsy, Russell G. Patsy, wife Michelle, and Christa A. McCarty, husband Ronald, all of Erie; a brother, Anthony Arduini, of Tionesta, Pa.; three sisters, Anna Marie Doolittle, of Florida, Arlene Briggs, husband Robert, of Waterford, and Terri Wolrige, husband Ross; a daughter-in-law, Jewelene Blaylock-Patsy; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th Steet at Greengarden Blvd., on Tuesday June 25th from 4 p.m. until the time of a funeral service there at 7 p.m.
