Laura Roberts Obituary
Funeral Services for Laura (Granny) Z. Roberts, 85, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Waymond Warren and Darris Waren officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, October 14, 2024 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Laura was born on December 14, 1938 passed away on October 11, 2024 in Monroe, LA. She was an honorary member of the Krewe of Janus. Laura was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association and the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority (ESA). She loved to play cards with her friends, crafting, and loved to garden. Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Leoda Zuber; brothers, Eugene Zuber, Donald Zuber, Ronald Zuber, George Zuber, and Joe Zuber; and sister, Betty Carter.
She is survived by her daughter, Demetria Peters; granddaughter, Cassie and Dylan McManus; great-grandsons: (her punkin), Chance Wood, Bowen McManus and Bennett McManus; sister, Juanita Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Regan Zuber, Steven Zuber, David Webb, Bo Carter, Johnny Carter, and Chad Kelley.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Laura’s special caregivers who have now become family, Buddy McGraw and Alyssa King for all of their love and compassion.
