The Kmart Grille was great! Most Palatine kids went there to hang out, staff was kind. If your mom was the creator of the sundae (take a spin to determine your price) wheel, that thing was genius! It got the kids there, it was fun, and memories are fantastic. Thank you to Laura, RIP.

So sorry to hear about Laura. She was my mom's cousin. Her mom & my grand father were brother & sister. I was raised knowing the Mervine kids! Many happy memories!

My sympathy on the loss of your very dear mother. She was a beautiful and caring person. I have many memories of our parents playing cards while we watched the Wonderful World of Walt Disney. May God comfort and sustain you during your time of grief.
