STREETMAN, Laura ‘Faye’, age 88 of Swartz Creek passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at McLaren Flint surrounded by family. Funeral will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI. Rev. Josh Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Wednesday until time of service. Interment will be held Friday, August 9, 2025 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell, AL

Faye was born April 19, 1937 in Phil Campbell, AL, the daughter of the late Otto and Isedell (Nix) Campbell. She married C.L. Streetman on April 17, 1953 and celebrated 66 years of marriage prior to his death in 2019.

She was a proud homemaker and loving mother while raising her young children and continued creating a welcoming, homelike atmosphere throughout her life. Later her love of fashion was evident in her work at Albert’s and Alvin’s selling women’s apparel. Her sense of fashion and shopping was something she happily enjoyed and passed on to her grandchildren and friends. She devoted many years to caring for her grandchildren helping to raise them with love, stories, and plenty of laughter. She never met a stranger and was quick to show her southern hospitality and generosity to all she encountered.

Surviving are her two sons, Steve Streetman (Christine) of Swartz Creek, Bryan Streetman (Carissa) of Palm Coast, FL; two grandchildren, Michael Streetman (Emily) of Mount Pleasant, NC; Morgan Maloney (Zach) of Swartz Creek; beloved sister, Carolyn Jones (James) of Gaines and many cherished extended family and friends . She was preceded in death by her husband, C.L., and their son, Mark. The family extends many thanks to the caregivers at Vicinia Gardens, Fenton.
