Laura Treviño Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Epting Funeral Home - Bentonville on Feb. 16, 2026.
With deep love, we say goodbye to Laura Dávila Cadena Treviño, born on December 26, 1962, in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Laura was a woman full of faith and strength. Her life was marked by a deep trust in God - Psalm 23 was one of her favorites and reflected the serenity and hope with which she faced every stage of her life. She was a determined, courageous woman with an unbreakable spirit. For her, "I can't" did not exist; she always forged ahead with resolve and character.

As the firstborn, she set an example for her siblings: she paved the way with her determination, her composure, and her firm yet loving way of supporting her family. Her character, her charisma, and the unconditional love she had for us achieved something extraordinary: bringing the family together and making us stronger as siblings.

As a daughter, she was loving and devoted. As a sister, she was a guide and constant support. As an aunt and family member, she was pure joy. It was impossible not to notice her presence - joyful wherever she went. She loved to dance, to enjoy life, and to serve others with a generous heart.

She was also a wonderful wife and a wonderful mother. In her home, she planted love, values, and strength. Her children and her husband were the center of her life, and she was the heart that sustained them with both tenderness and firmness. The deep love she received from them was a reflection of the unconditional devotion she always gave.

She deeply loved her daughters-in-law, whom she welcomed as daughters, and she found in her grandchildren an immense source of joy and tenderness. Being a grandmother lit up her face and filled her heart; with them she shared hugs, lessons, and a love that will remain for generations.

Although life took her down different paths, Monterrey was always her home in her heart. She loved returning to her city, reuniting with her loved ones, and cherishing every moment with family.

She never lost her essence. She was always herself: authentic, strong, loving, and full of light.

Today her absence hurts deeply, but her legacy of faith, strength, and unity will live on in each of us. Her life was a testimony that love and determination can open any path.

Rest in peace, Laura.
