Southbridge: Laureen N. (McDonald) Benvenuti, 66, of Dennison Lane, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT, on Thursday, Oct. 2nd, after a brief illness.

Her beloved husband and best friend of 41 years, Ronald J. Benvenuti, Sr. passed away on Jan. 18th 2024. She leaves a son, Ronald J. Benvenuti, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Southbridge; her three daughters, Melissa A. Roberson and her husband Sean of Phoenix, AZ, Megan C. Romero and her fiancée, Alexander Rajotte of Southbridge and Sarah AM Kennedy and her husband Eric of Brimfield; her two brother, Laurent "Butch" McDonald and his wife Celeste of Monson and Glenn McDonald of Charlton; two sisters, Kathy Charette and her husband John of Southington, CT and Sharon Livernois and her husband Richard of Sturbridge; her nine cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Emily, Seamus, Noah, Madelyn, Alexanderia, Brian, Jr., Lilah, Talia and her best pal, her dog, "Jack".

Laureen was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Laurent E. and Nancy C. (LaBonte) McDonald. She grew up in Southbridge and graduated from Southbridge High School. Laureen proudly owned and operated a Daycare in her home for more than 23 years. She enjoyed bowling on the Southbridge bowling league, crafts, her Chocolate Martini's and of course, her Dunkin Pumpkin decaf with "seven cream". Laureen cherished and loved her trips to Florida with Ronald to visit family and friends in Clearwater. Her love for her family was endless and she was so proud of her children, grandchildren and the hundreds of children who she taught in her many years as a beloved daycare provider.

A celebration of life for Laureen will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 4:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 59 Mills St., Southbridge.
