Laurel was an amazing woman who I will never forget. Whether it was Puerto Vallarta, New Orleans, or Montrose MN, I seemed to always have a fellow rabblerouser in Laurel. She knew how to have fun in any environment.

My heart goes out to the whole Allenburg family. Laurel will be missed. Be happy for the fact that she is in a better place now, and is no longer suffering.

Dad--Well, the guest book for mom wouldn't be complete without recognizing the amazing care she received--unparalleled to any a hospital, hospice or anyone else could provide--over the last days, months and years. You quite literally extended her life and brought it a quality she never otherwise would have enjoyed with all of us. You redefined the meaning of the word "partner", and left mom and your bazillion kids and grandkids with an example to aspire to for a lifetime. Lots of love sent above and staying here with you.

John - We will miss Laurel so much. She was an amazing friend, an extraordinary mother, and loving wife. Nothing will ever be the same, but the memories and stories of the times we had together will continue to bring a smile to our faces and gentle joy into our hearts. Our love to you and the family.

I don't know you but we are writing a obituary for my 64 year old dad who died on Friday night and we loved your opening sentence - we may use it. New home in heaven!
