Laurel was a dedicated medical coder for 25 years, known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to always lend a helping hand. She took pride in her work and built lasting friendships throughout her career.
More than anything, Laurel’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four children — Nathan, Kaylee, Kristin, and Nick — and a proud grandmother to Bernard, Layla, and Koraline, who brought endless light, laughter, and happiness into her life. She also shared a special bond with her five siblings and treasured the time they spent together.
Laurel had a playful spirit and a gift for making others laugh. She loved collecting puzzles and Funko Pops, hobbies that perfectly reflected her fun personality and appreciation for life’s little joys. She will be remembered for her humor, her open heart, her strength through life’s challenges, and the way she showed up for everyone she loved. She was brave, selfless, and endlessly giving — the kind of person you could always count on.
Laurel’s presence filled every room, and her love will continue to surround those who knew her.
