Laurel J. Newlin

Laurel J. Newlin, 80, of Windsor Twp., passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 in her residence. She was the wife of John S. Newlin. They were married March 26, 1981 and celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late J. Donald and Janet (Foster) Young. She graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1963. Laurel worked for a number of years as a receptionist at Ted Kefalinos Chiropractic in Shoemakersville. She also owned and operated Mutters Gutte Stuff, Hamburg; having a stand at the Leesport Farmers Market, and later a storefront in Hamburg. She loved to dance; loved music; and especially loved her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her two daughters: Melody L. (Young) Morales, Charlotte, NC, and Melinda L. (Newlin) Gray, Cocoa, FL; seven grandchildren: Mason, Janet, Charlene, DaRaye, Jazmine, Julius, and Emeryl; and six great-grandchildren.
