Laurel Elizabeth Suggs

Laurel Elizabeth Suggs, age 54, of Springfield, passed from this life on February 27, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Laurie wished to be cremated and no services are planned.  Her family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Laurie was born on May 4, 1969 to Boyd and Elizabeth Brake. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as an Insurance Coordinator before having to quit work. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it. She was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, but most importantly, GLE by her grandkids. They were her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Brake; her mother, Elizabeth (Libby) Brake; her grandmother, Willie Ann Crawford (Mammy); and grandfather, Nelson Crawford.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Matthew and Brittney Adcock, daughter, Brianna Suggs, sister Leanne Clark; brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Brake; Her grandkids, Ryanna Suggs, Jahmir Dunn, Jordan White, Aiden Adcock, Rylen Adcock, Delanie Adcock, Brayden Carter and Kaylee Green. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends that were more like family.
