Lauren Christian "Chris" Harper

Lauren Christian (Chris) Harper was born on November 12, 1970, and passed away on October 25, 2025. He was born to William Fred Harper and Lyda Rasbeary Harper in Karnes City, Texas. Throughout his career, he was employed in the information technology sector as a software developer for various organizations, including FCE Bene/t Administrators, USAA and the San Antonio River Authority. Chris was passionate about working with diverse forms of technology. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and stayed in touch even during the years he lived away from Karnes City. He is survived by his mother, Lyda Rasbeary Harper; his wife (separated), Karen Harper; stepchildren, Preston and Willow Wesley; sister, Lisa Rose (Curtis Rose); aunt, Letha McClure; and cousin, Mylissa McClure. He will always be "Uncle Chris" to second cousins Gail Mclean and Gage Balderamos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice McIntosh Harper; father, William Fred Harper; grandparents, Earl and Laura Rasbeary; and uncle, Garth Rasbeary. No service is scheduled at this time.
