Laurie M. Brann

HARTLAND- Laurie Marie Brann, 64, died on November 22, 2025, at her home in Hartland.
She was born on June 3, 1961, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Clement) Shields. She worked as a personal support caregiver for several years in behavioral health and most recently was employed as an associate at Walmart in Palmyra.
Laurie loved her family with all of her heart. She was generous, kind, and overcame a lot of life's challenges with strength and grace. She enjoyed knitting, reading, feeding the birds and going to the ocean. She loved black bears and had quite the collection.
She leaves behind her three sons: Matt Brann and wife Lolly, Mark Brann, and Jacob Brann; two grandchildren: Alyssa and Trevor; siblings: Theresa Griffeth and husband George "Bouncer", Kim Martin and husband Shawn Weinfeld, and Charles Shields; her close friend and father of her children, Mark Brann Sr; special nephew, Jeremy Shields; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Robin Parents.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions can be made to the local animal shelter in her memory.
A celebration of life will be held from 12-2 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Skills Building, 460 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. All are welcome
