Laurie Stachura Caldwell

Laurie Stachura Caldwell, age 65, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Laurie was born at the Bitburg Airforce base in Germany on June 16th, 1956, to Walter Stachura and Eileen Teresa (Carney) Stachura.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eileen Stachura; her granddaughter, Isabella Paisley Fennell; and her husband of 30 years Samuel Jack Fennell.
Laurie is survived by her children, Daniel (Savannah) Caldwell of Ocean Springs, Kelli (Cory) Caldwell of Biloxi, Alex (Lindsey) Fennell of Gulfport and Lauren (Alexis) Fennell of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Molly Kate Caldwell, Liam Caldwell, Andon Nevarez, Brayden Fennell, John Patrick Caldwell, Avery Fennell, Abigail Fennell, and Amelia-Jane Caldwell; her brothers, John (Susie) Stachura and Phillip Stachura; her sister, Kathy (Skip) DeFrank; and lots of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Laurie was a dedicated lawyer for over 40 years. She graduated from Southern Miss with a bachelor's degree and then graduated from Ole Miss with a master's degree, and a Juris Doctorate Degree. Laurie was known on the Mississippi Gulf Coast as a "Pit Bull Lawyer" with a fierce and powerful attitude. If you knew Laurie, you knew strength, wisdom, and a very colorful vocabulary.
Laurie loved Disney, traveling, camping, chocolate, animals and playing blackjack at the casinos. Though Laurie loved many things, nothing compared to the love she had for her children and grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
