Laurita Ann Buehler

Laurita Ann Buehler, 86, of Pottsville, passed away, on Wednesday, November 26th, at St. Joseph Manor, Meadowbrook, PA.

Born on January 14, 1939, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie (Smith) Buehler.

Laurita graduated from Pottsville Area High School and later worked for the school district in the administration office. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville, where she was very active. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and home repairs. She was extremely handy and never afraid to take on a project.

She was a dedicated Philadelphia Phillies Fan and enjoyed cheering on the Eagles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Buehler, and a sister, Colette Dolan.

Laurita is survived by her loving nieces, Susanne Slavin and Jennifer Radtke, and loving nephew, John Buehler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on December 3rd, at 11:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 913 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, with The Reverend Kevin Bobbin. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 AM till the time of mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
