Laurna Denean (Dickey) McKendrick

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Dee, on Friday, October 31st, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family.  She was 56 years old.

Dee was born on March 26, 1969, in Thermopolis, WY, to Laura Erlean Dickey (Haderlie) and William Hughes Dickey.  She was the third of five children and their only daughter.  Despite developmental and physical challenges, she lived her life to the fullest.  

She loved playing cards and board games and was a fierce competitor.  She also loved Elvis Presley, the Seattle Seahawks, and WWE Wrestling.  

She is survived by her brothers, William Neil Dickey (Victoria), Earl Alan Dickey (Kenna), Kyle H Dickey (Mercy,) and Lynn D Dickey (Traci) as well as half niece, Trisha Lynne Narchi, a son, Ben, and countless nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts on both sides of the family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Active Home Health and Hospice, particularly Mindy, Zac, Ashley, Hilary, Katlyn, and Tiffany, as well as her personal caregivers at Infinite Support, Lara, Shelly, and their teams, for the years of love and support given daily to Dee as she succumbed to congestive heart failure.

Viewing on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W Magna Main Street, Magna, UT.

Burial with graveside service on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the cemetery in Freedom, Wyoming.
