Lavera Davis Obituary
Lavera and her family relocated from Philadelphia, PA to Somerdale, New Jersey in 1965. She was employed as a 4th grade teacher in the Somerdale School District and retired after 24 years of loyal service. On November 13, 1990, Lavera was elected as a member of the Somerdale Borough Council.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and contributing to the community. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence, her daughter Dr. Cheryl Smith Collura, grandson Sean and great-granddaughters Abigail and Sinclair as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Lester Davis.
Donations in Lavera Davis's name to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice in Marlton, NJ are welcome and appreciated.
