LaVerne Marie "Brookbank" Dittmer

LaVerne Marie Dittmer (nee Brookbank) beloved wife of 72 years of the late Wayne Mendell Dittmer. Loving mother of Stevan (Debra) Dittmer, Michael Dittmer and Kathy (Chris) Simon. Devoted grandmother of Jackson and Lauren Simon and Chris (Rush) Dittmer and Great-grandmother of Denali Dittmer. Passed away August 10, 2025. Age 97 years.

LaVerne was devoted to her family, and always put their happiness first. Her family was her absolute joy. She cherished the 72 years she was married to the love of her life, Wayne. She was an active member at St. Bernard, a devout Catholic, who could always be found in the front pew worshipping the Lord. For many years LaVerne was an Avon lady, and was rarely seen without her signature red lipstick. Her bright smile and ever positive attitude brightened the lives of all who were blessed to know her, and she will be deeply missed.

Family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison, Ohio. Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at St. Bernard Church, 7130 Harrison Ave., Taylor Creek. Burial in the Church Cemetery.
