A Wake for Ms. Mitchell will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 South Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow immediately in Winter Garden Cemetery, 13636 Lake Butler Boulevard, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Repast will be held at First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden , 125 Lakeview Avenue, Winter, Winter Garden, FL 34787.

I AM SURE GOING TO MISS YOU LAVERNE. YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE. WE SURE HAD GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. DRINKING THAT LOWENBRAUH BEER ON SATURDAY AND EATING CRAB DINNER, AND SUNDAY GOING TO CHURCH SERVICE. WE SURE DID A LOT OF SHOPPING ON SATURDAY ALSO. I WAS SO HAPPY I GOT TO SEE YOU BEFORE YOUR TRANSITION TO A BETTER PLACE. YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART LAVERNE. MAY YOU RIEP.
