Laverne Rummler Obituary
Laverne was born December 8, 1947, in Roseville to the late Laverne Sr. and Laurien (nee Slanec) Rummler. He married Margaret Snarski on September 12, 1970 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Fraser.
Verne enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He loved taking trips north to the family property in Gladwin. He was known as the pierogi king and the best baker in the family. Verne was very social and attended his children and grandchildren's events as often as he was able. He also enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning, deer processing and making wine.
Verne is survived by his beloved wife Margaret; children Kevin (Dorreen), Nicole (Chad) Chisholm, Andrea (Nathan) Malloy and Kimberly (Mark) Gai; grandchildren Chase, Conner, Madison, Chorben, Chyler, Macaylah, Kenadee, Wyatt, Marino, Libby and Serena; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Baylee; siblings, Richard (Margaret) Henson and Chuck Rummler.
Verne is predeceased by his parents Laverne Sr. and Laurien Rummler; son, Chad Rummler; sister, Laurien Perry and brother-in-law George Perry.
The family honors the memory of Verne and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at Holy Family Parish, Memphis, with 10:00 a.m. instate. Burial will be in Capac Cemetery, Mussey Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."

I remeber me (Allie) and adreonna going up there to the summer property almost every year for I'd say our first 15 years. We always had such a blast and made many memories that we both cherish. Uncle Vernie was always in a good mood and willing to put up with all of us crazy kids!
