Lavila Enzenauer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna from Jan. 22 to Jan. 23, 2026.
Lavila Kay Enzenauer, 86, of Owatonna, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Emeralds of Faribault.

She was born December 16, 1939, in Burt, Iowa, the daughter of Garry and Nila (Burtis) Behrends. Lavila lived in Iowa until the age of nine before moving to Missouri, and later came to Minnesota, where she would build her life. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1957. While attending a canning company Christmas party, she met the love of her life, LaVern "Ike" Enzenauer. They were united in marriage on March 26, 1960. They were blessed with three children together.

During Lavila's life, she was a retail worker, working at Pamida, Walmart, and McDonalds. She loved cats, reading, scrapbooking, and photography. Lavila was also a big collector of antique trinkets, never passing up the opportunity to visit a garage sale. She and Ike were very involved in the Eagles, being members of the Auxiliary. They also loved to travel together, going on multiple fishing trips.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Raaum of Owatonna; son, Curtis Enzenauer of Owatonna; daughter, Valerie (Paul) Ricken of Lakeville; grandchildren, Josh Raaum, Chris Ricken, and Noah Ricken; brothers, Marlin Behrends and Leon (Dorothy) Behrends; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garry and Nila; husband, Ike; son-in-law, Lyndon Raaum; and sister-in-law, Rose Behrends.

Memorials may be directed towards the family.

Internment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
