Lavon Hall Bailey was born September 16, 1932 to the late John M. and Cora King Hall, she passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at her residence. She met and married her true love, Paul H. Bailey, on August 15, 1953. They made their home in Bypro, Kentucky. Paul preceded her in death on February 28, 2021, leaving her heart broken hearted. Lavon was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law: Yarlette Ann & Roger Potts; siblings, Holeene Hall, Venice Nidiffer, Mildred Hatfield & Cornelus Hall. Lavon is survived by her Son: Timothy (Teresa) Bailey of Bypro, Kentucky; Daughters: Paula Bailey (Levi) Johnson of Weeksbury, Kentucky & Kimberly (Eddie) Hall pf Bypro, Kentucky; Grandsons: Paul Justin (Audrey) Hall of Bypro, Kentucky, Heath (Ashley) Hall of Richmond, Kentucky & Timothy Kyle (Taylor) Bailey of Georgetown, Kentucky; Granddaughters: Terri Brittany (Adam) Tackett of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Amanda Jo (Josh) Lawson of Wheelwright, Kentucky, Bianca Brook (Jordan) Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky & Candace Lavon Sharp of Lexington, Kentucky; Great Grandchildren: Chloe Hall (Ben), Annalise Hall, Natalie Hall, London Tackett, Sawyer Tackett, Hadley Lawson, Blake Lawson, Parker Johnson, Beckham Johnson, Boone Bailey, Madden Bailey, Shepherd Bailey, Sydney Sharp, Caroline Sharp & Hanna Sharp. Together, they established Bailey's Grocery and then Bailey Mining Co. Lavon enjoyed bowling, crocheting, bingo and a 60-year membership in Wheelwright Eastern Star. Her entire family was blessed with amazing role model and true example.

Grief may linger, but the memories of love will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will begin Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 5pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1pm at the funeral home with Bobbie Isaac & Chuck Hall officiating

Burial will follow at Buckingham Cemetery, Bevinsville, Kentucky
