Lavon Leon Loggins was born on February 11, 1996, in Manhattan, NY, to Alanna Johnson and Larry Loggins. Raised in the Bronx, NY, Lavon grew into a young man filled with strength, purpose and an unforgettable presence. With deep sadness and heavy hearts, Lavon transitioned from his earthly life on November 14, 2025 at the young age of 29.

Lavon attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School for Elementary and Junior High School in Harlem, NY, then graduated from Dawsonville High School in Dawsonville, Georgia. Lavon went on to attend Georgia Gwinnett College in Georgia where he studied Business Administration.

Lavon was known for his infectious smile, confident spirit, protective nature and unforgettable personality. His love language was loyalty and if he loved you, you knew it. One of the most meaningful relationships in his life was the one he shared with his mother. Lavon was deeply protective of er and never let too much time pass without checking in. Whether it was a quick call, a random visit, or just making sure she was okay, loving and looking out for his mother was something he took seriously and did without hesitation.

Beyond his family bond, Lavon had a love for music, style, laughter, and creating memories. He walked with a presence that could be felt before he spoke, and his smile had a way of changing the energy in any room. His loyalty ran deep, and his family and friends could depend on him for honesty, laughter, encouragement, and protection. To know Lavon was to know authenticity and his love.

Lavon is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leon Johnson, Sr. and Larry Loggins, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Alanna Johnson; his devoted father, Larry Loggins; his devoted brothers: Breitling Freeman, Jahmir Loggins and Larry Loggins, Jr., his grandmothers, Lucy Williams and Nora Loggins; his girlfriend, Jasmine Aseme and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him close to their hearts.
