My wife Diana and I are deeply saddened to hear of Larry´s passing. Larry´s mother and my mother were cousins, making Larry and his sister Terri distant cousins of my sisters and me. As children we would often see Larry, his sister, and his parents at family parties, picnics and other events and we enjoyed interacting (at that age"playing"). Plus we frequently would visit each others´ homes on weekends. In fact, my wife and I attended the University of Rochester where Larry attened college. He was one year behind me and graduated in the same class as my wife (1970). In the summer of 1969 I was proud and honored to have Larry serve as a groomsman in our wedding. Regretfully, Larry and I never stayed in contact beyond that point. I knew of his service with the Park Service but was unaware of his numerous accomplishments in both that service and earlier with the Navy. I now wish I had kept in touch with him. What a wonderful and talented individual he obviously was, so giving to his country and to the world! It is an honor to have been a distant cousin. To those who mourn his lost, please know he clearly was someone to admire, respect, and love! He is in my wife´s and my hearts and prayers!
With fond memories,
