Lawrence D. Black

Lawrence “Devon” Black, beloved son of Lawrence and Cheryl Black was born on Tuesday, December 15, 1992, in Wiesbaden Germany. Devon departed this life on Monday, July 10, 2023.   Devon, as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Florence County School System and graduated from South Florence High School. After high school, Devon attended Midland Technical College.   Devon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Linda Sanders and his paternal grandmother, Emma Holloway.   Devon enjoyed watching South Carolina Gamecock football games and spending time with his children. Devon also had a passion for cooking. Most of all, Devon loved to make people laugh.   Devon leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Morgan Black, his children: Londynn Black, Kylie Todd, Legacy Black, Lola Black, Mason Pigett-Black, Kaleyah Kelly and Malani Kelly; his parents, Lawrence Black and Cheryl Black; a brother, Quenton Black; a sister, Valencia Phillips; and a host of other family and friends.   Please keep the family of Lawrence D.
