Lawrence A. Bob, age 79, of St. Georges, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Born on May 25, 1946, in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Bob and Florence (Nightingale) Goggins. Lawrence proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying out his duties with unwavering dedication, integrity, and courage.

A talented electrical engineer, Lawrence spent his career contributing his skills to several respected companies, including Great West and Centurion. His strong work ethic, meticulous craftsmanship, and problem-solving abilities earned him the admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Lawrence will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments, but for his gentle spirit and kind heart. He found great joy in spending time with his family, caring for his yard, and working with his hands-whether building, fixing, or creating. His quiet strength and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his brothers, Gregory Goggins and Clifford Goggins and sister, Arlene Bob Ray.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his three children, Darrel Bob (Khadyjah), Kevin Bob and Michell Lee (Seiyid); his siblings, Beverly Goggins, Elton Goggins (Castiner), Grady Goggins (Carolyn) and Alveria Bob (Matthew); his sister-in-law, Angie Goggins; six grandchildren, Marc, Dominique, Malik, Shrhonda, Raven and Keonna; and five great-grandchildren, Amadis, Marquis, Jaden, Evan and Omari. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.

All services will be held privately.
