Lawrence Louis Bordeaux, Jr. Jr.

Lawrence was born on May 16, 1974 in Rosebud, SD to Larwence Bordeaux, Sr. and Irma Jean Young and was raised by his grandmother, Katherine whom he considered his mother. Lawrence made his journey to the Spirit World on July 15, 2025 in Spearfish, SD.

Lawrence was an outstanding athlete where he excelled in basketball and achieved various awards and trophies for his outstanding skills. Lawrence was also on the football team and the track & field team where he also achieved many awards.

Lawrence owned his own carpentry business, Bordeaux Finishing, he took pride in his work and many people in the Custer area called upon him to build and fix things in their homes. After quite a few years, Lawrence retired from his carpentry business so he could focus on his children whom he loved and cared for immensely.

Lawrence is survived by his spouse, Lucin Bordeaux; children, Lushia Bordeaux, Leah (Zack Anker) Bordeaux, and Lawrence Bordeaux III; granddaughter, Scarlet White; and sister, Misty Young.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Bordeaux and Lawrence Bordeaux, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Zack Anker, Leah Bordeaux, Scarlet White, Lushia Bordeaux, Lawrence Bordeaux III, Shayanna Woodward, Steve DeSersa, and Misty Young.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.

Wake Services: One night wake service will start at 2:00 PM, CT, Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Rosebud Community Building in Rosebud, SD with evening service starting at 7:00 PM, CT.

Funeral Services: Two funeral services will be held for Lawrence, with the first service starting at 9:00 AM, Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Custer, SD and the second service starting at 11:00 AM, CT, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Rosebud Community Building in Rosebud, SD
