Lawrence Carey Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Carey, 74, of Xenia, passed away on August 28, 2024 at Harmony Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born on August 18, 1950 in Williamsport, PA.
Larry served his Country for 44 years, between The Air Force and The VA Medical center.
Larry was a dedicated member of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) Double H Square Dance Club. Larry also attended Faith Ignited Church. Larry collected trains, cars and trucks.
He is survived by his Loving Wife of 6 years, Debbie: Daughter, Christine; Step Sons Tarek and Nathan (Julie) Tretiak; Grandchildren Yuna and Damon Nelson; Step Grandchildren Kynzi, Michaela and Natalie Tretiak; Sisters Patty Saar and Mary Jo (Keith) Spiegel; 3 brother in laws, 5 sister in laws. And Many Friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his Father Francies Carey, Mother Alice Carey, Son Tom Carey, First Wife Marty Carey.
Visitation will be held from 1 -2 Pm Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, (3380 Dayton-Xenia, Rd. Beavercreek) Where funeral services will begin at 2 PM Sunday. Burial will be on Monday September 9, 2024 at the Dayton National Cemetery at 10 AM.
In Lieu of flowers Family is asking for Donations to be made to the MS Society.
