Lawrence Edward Dluhos, 83, of Concord, NC passed away on December 6, 2025.
Larry was born in Waukegan, IL on February 22, 1942 to the late Edward and Clarice Dluhos.
Along with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Dluhos and brother John Dluhos.
He is survived by his two daughters Rebecca Mors (Terry) and Cynthia Kluttz (Kenneth), two granddaughters Karalee and Toni Smith and one brother Gordon Dluhos.
Larry enjoyed his camp in Michigan where he often loved going hunting and fishing. He loved keeping his wooded property beautiful. He initially worked at Abbott Labs in North Chicago, Illinos but transitioned into policing. He started out at Waukegan Police Department and then moved to Gurnee Police Department where he retired as Chief of Police in 1990.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Animal Adoption League (PO Box 2453, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
