1932 - 2023

Fair, Lawrence Jr., 91, from Dorothy, passed away to be with his lord and savior to reunite with wife & soulmate after 44 years on September 23, 2023.
He is an honored veteran of Korean War ('52-'60) serving with U.S. Army.

Predeceased: Wife-Gloria Jean Fair (Santo), Parents-Mary & Lawrence Sr., Sisters-Mary, Olive, and Jean.
He enjoyed a career with FAA; starting as an aircraft mechanic and retiring as flight safety inspector.
He was a gifted/passionate airplane model builder & designer, loved to tinker-fix-build anything with wheels, engines, props or wings, and a Davidson fanatic (always said "Harley" got enough credit!)
Celebrated 30 fantastic years of retirement, 25 years in Las Vegas doing what he loved; flying models on dry lake bed and going to the gym (which he "trumpeted" to everyone!). It was a huge highlight of his life..
Last 4 years he moved back to Jersey to be with all his family and lifelong friends, saying "God, it's good to be home"
We whole-heartedly feel it needs mentioning "pop" was the kind of man who would always light up a room, go out of his way to make you smile, and was the most genuine story-teller to anyone who would listen. He would tell you he lived a great 91 years and left nothing behind.
Pop spent his life showing us all how to be a loyal lifelong friend (of which he has many), being a great mentor and listener. "See ya later" he'd say "Tang Soo".
"Celebration of Life" will be held on November 6th, 2023 at Laurel Memorial Park. In honor of pop, it is casual attire for "Celebration" throw on your favorite flannel shirt or Davidson attire and join us.
Pop loved the American flag so in lieu of flowers, please consider planting a dedication tree with link provided (link).
