Lawrence "Larry" Fleckenstein
BISMARCK - Lawrence "Larry" Fleckenstein, 77, Bismarck, passed away May 19, 2024, at a local nursing home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Catholic Church of the Ascension. Visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, with a Vigil/Rosary service at 7:00 PM, at DaWise-Perry / Mandan Crematory, 4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Larry was born December 24, 1944, at Richardton, ND, to Paul and Otillia (Herauf) Fleckenstein. He was raised and educated in Dodge, ND. He married Judy Sticka at St. Pius Church in Schefield, ND. To this a son, Dean, was born. Larry retired as a Sargent after spending his career in the Army. He will be missed by all his friends.
He is survived by his good friends the Grimm family.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Dean; wife, Judy; parents; and all his siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
Funeral arrangements are being made with DaWise-Perry / Mandan Crematory, Mandan, North Dakota.
