Lawrence B. 'Larry' Fowler, Jr.

Lawrence B. ‘Larry’ Fowler, Jr., 77, of Abbeville, SC, beloved husband of Judy Barnes Fowler, passed away on December 29, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center. He was born in Anderson, SC, to the late Lawrence B. Fowler, Sr. and Jewell Brown Fowler.

Larry always spoke of his teenage years spent in New Jersey and dedicated many years of his life to working as a maintenance supervisor for apartment complexes. He cherished time spent fishing, hunting, and creating memories with his family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Elizabeth Templeton Fowler; his brother, Wade Clifton Fowler; and his sister, Deborah Standridge.

Larry is survived by his wife, Judy of seven years of the home; his children, Brett Aubrey Fowler (Katelyn) of Greenville, SC, Randall Scott Fowler of New York, Jessica Elizabeth Fowler of Calhoun Falls, SC, Amy Lynn Bouda of New Jersey, Lori Ann Fresina of New York, Wendy Barnes of Abbeville, SC, Kristen Key of Greer, SC, and Kevin Thomas of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Joe Wallace Fowler of Abbeville, SC and Steven Manley Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Wendy Marchbanks of Six Mile, SC and Mary Spearman of Anderson; twenty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Larry's life will be, 2:00PM Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the Harris Funeral Home Chapel, 302 N. Main St. Abbeville, SC 29620 with Pastor Bobby Marchbanks officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Larry, may be made to the Abbeville High School Booster Club, PO Box 1214, Abbeville, SC 29620.
