Lawrence Patterson "Larry" Glover

North Augusta, SC- Funeral Services for Lawrence "Larry" Patterson Glover, 82, who entered into rest January 10, 2026, will be conducted Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2PM from Victory Baptist Church. Rev. CT Townsend will be officiating. Entombment in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the church at 1pm.

Larry was born in John's Island, SC on August 27, 1943, to the late Angus Patterson and Amelia Zander Glover. He had made Charleston, SC his home for 41 years and later moved to North Augusta, SC. Larry retired from SRS as an Electrical Engineer and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially walking his property picking up pinecones with his grandchildren, who all knew the famous saying "a pinecone for a penny." Larry was witty and funny but also had a servant heart and would help those in need. He was the Superman to his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Glover and his sister, Annette Mckeethen Grooms. Surviving members of the family left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Ward Glover; three children, Damon Glover, Frank (Pam) Ward and Darlene Ward (Robby) Livingston; six grandchildren, Lauren Glover, Logan Glover, Chandler Bridges, Courtney (Chris) Livingston Moore, Zach (Reganne) Livingston and Perry Ward and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ushers and Members of the Dream Team of Victory Baptist Church.
