Larry was an amazing man - he accomplished SO much and gave so much of himself. He's not Lawrence to me, but Lorenzo, which is his proper name. Lorenzo Albino Fausto Pomponio. That's how I remember him. We spoke of his family, and how much he loved his brothers and sisters. His brother was named Ermengildo, not Gerengildo as the obituary states. I remember these things vividly because I cherished my time with Larry and all the things he willingly shared. I remember seeing him for the first time when he picked up my mother for a date. So dapper, well dressed, well spoken, a true gentleman. He was funny, sharp, and smart - loved to laugh, and loved our family. My thoughts go to him as this time of year as it will be almost a year since he passed. Prayers for Larry that he rest easy.....and will always be in our thoughts as a sweet human being, and a cherished member of our extended family.
