Lawrence Allen Rodgers Jr.

Lawrence Allen Rodgers Jr., 77, of South Williamsport, passed at The Gatehouse on December 23, 2025.

He was born in Williamsport on February 16, 1948, a son to the late Lawrence A. Sr. and Marie H. (Dymeck) Rodgers.

Larry was a graduate of South Williamsport High School, and later retired from Textron. Throughout his working career, he also worked at Larry's Café and Central Grill with his father. He enjoyed playing cards, especially setback, and his trips to the Poconos.

He married his loving wife, Ann Marie Ceraso, on July 14, 1973. Together they celebrated 49 years before her passing in 2023.

Larry is survived by son Joseph A. (Katie) Rodgers of Mechanicsburg; sister Isabelle R. (Tim) Hetner of South Williamsport; and brother Michael F. (Diane) Rodgers of Duboistown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 2, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 W Central Ave., South Williamsport PA 17702. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to Mass, in church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Boniface Parish, for the benefit of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701.
