Our prayers are about Larry, and with your family. Larry, I and his team accomplished so much, both days and nights of work during the almost 30-years together, and the world is wiser and better because of our efforts. Larry was a good and decent friend whom I and many others shall miss his dedication and honesty.

Uncle Larry stepped up to the plate when I was at one of the lowest points in my life. I will forever be grateful for his guidance and putting up with my teenage antics at a crucial turning point in my life.

My heartfelt condolences to his family, whom he loved dearly. Larry was a USPS co-worker, and was always willing to drop whatever he was doing to lend me his support. His kindness will never be forgotten. Rest-in-peace Larry.

I don't think any one person affected me as much as Larry. I worked under him for 12 years at USPS-Engineering. I would have to compare him to Mozart in that he had this amazing ability to cover numerous subjects and new ideas and have them all figured out in detail while we were still just starting. He completed the composition while we were struggling with which notes to play. He brought out the best and worst in me, but was always there as a friend. Since he retired life hasn't been the same. I was shocked by his passing as no one here at work expected him to go so quickly after retirement. When I last spoke to him 2 months ago he seemed quite content and at peace with lots of plans. he really didn't want to retire, but he realized that it was best to step down at his peak. I know he is okay now and we don't have to worry about him anymore, but I sure do miss him. All my best to his wife and his wonderful kids whom I was honored to help with car and computer issues and saw them growing up.

All of us who worked with Larry for many years miss him greatly. His no-nonsense approach was as refreshing as it was warm and genuine. Much aloha to his family and friends from the left coast.

We are so shocked to hear of Larry's passing. We remember him so well from early days when he and Pam attended childbirth classes with my husband and I and our get togethers afterwards with the class and all the new babies who are now all grown up. He was a very kind and gracious person and our thoughts and prayers are certainly with Pam and the family who I know he loved so much. Sincerely, Hugh and Sarah Brackett, Manassas, VA
